About The Position

St. Louis County's Department of Revenue seeks an Office Services Representative to join their Collector of Revenue team. This position will perform a wide range of office support functions. We offer a competitive average salary, typically starting between $16.01 - $19.21 per hour, based on qualifications. Requirements

• Equivalent to a high school diploma
• Employees must remain current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, open, sort and distribute U.S. and interoffice mail.
• Respond to inquiries and provides information and assistance to the general public in person, by telephone or by mail in matters as mandated by individual County Department concerns.
• Assists with providing tax waivers for personal property tax inquiries.
• Performs routine account maintenance on tax accounts.
• Provides documentation such as tax receipts or other tax records upon request.
• Assist with organizing invoices and payments for internal processing.
• Monitor, maintain and update reports, logs, lists, spreadsheets and databases.
• Input information from forms and other source documents to establish and update records.
• Maintain files and records.
• May provide assistance or backup to other staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
