Based in Washington, D.C., the Office Services Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations.

Requirements

  • Strong client service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with poise.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and solution-oriented team player.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs as needed.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience in a food and beverage service or hospitality-focused role.

Responsibilities

  • Pantry Stocking & Maintenance: Thoughtfully stocking and maintaining satellite pantries, ensuring supplies are consistently available and spaces are immaculate, organized, and client-ready at all times.
  • Meeting Coordination: Responding promptly and professionally to incoming calls and emails regarding pop-up requests or adjustments to existing catering, ensuring each detail is captured with care.
  • Conference Room Setup: Preparing meeting spaces to the highest standard, including arranging food and beverages with attention to presentation, and ensuring a complete and polished reset after each event.
  • Supply Refreshment: Monitoring and replenishing office supplies in conference rooms—pads, pens, pencils, and other materials—ensuring readiness and a consistently elevated experience for all clients.
  • Client Engagement: Communicating graciously and efficiently with internal clients before, during, and after their meetings or events, offering support and solutions that reflect our culture of hospitality.
  • Catering Standards: Following established standards for plating, presentation, and portioning to ensure every setup meets firm expectations for quality and consistency.
  • Stewarding Responsibilities: Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all serviceware, kitchen equipment, and production areas, ensuring a safe, hygienic environment in compliance with operational and quality standards.
  • Event Support: Monitoring third-party catering teams during quick setups or teardowns, while also maintaining a polished presence—welcoming clients with a hospitality-driven mindset and professionalism.
