About The Position

Akerman LLP is seeking a part-time Office Services Assistant for its Tallahassee office. The working hours will be 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a professional work environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships with employees
  • Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and produce accurate and high-quality work product

Nice To Haves

  • Law firm experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail
  • Pick up and deliver documents to courts, state agencies, and other locations
  • Perform business-related errands as needed
  • Set up and clean-up of meeting rooms
  • Stocking and cleanup of kitchen areas
  • Document copying
  • Maintenance of supply inventory
  • Complete special projects as assigned
