Requirements

  • Ability to easily adapt and consistently move from one job to next, with minimal interaction with supervisor.
  • Demonstrated pattern of initiative.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with use of computers, including Microsoft Office (excel, email, etc).
  • Ability to work in production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Office type work related field.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials, or other AP related system.
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing or related environment.
  • Experience with perpetual inventory systems.

Responsibilities

  • Providing vacation relief coverage for the following clerical positions: Purchasing/IE Clerk, Maintenance Storeroom Clerks, Maintenance Office Clerk.
  • Completing Purchasing related work when not providing relief: AP related work (resolving invoices, calling vendors to resolve liabilities, balance sheet reconciliation), IE related work (daily enter data labor hours from production team), Mechanical inventory (inventory reconciliation, cycle counts).
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by Purchasing manager when not providing relief coverage.
  • Learning numerous facets of Dold Foods office positions and being able to shift from job to job quickly, without the need for constant re-training to provide coverage.
  • Entering the plant environment, standing for several hours at a time, including lifting, bending and twisting motions for loads up to 40 pounds.
