About The Position

This role serves as the welcoming face of the Foundation, ensuring a seamless office experience while supporting other administrative functions as needed. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives, the Temporary Office Operations & Administrative Associate plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment. This role manages front desk operations. The Associate is proactive, detail-oriented, service-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where adaptability, professionalism, and strong organizational skills are essential. This is a temporary, full-time position lasting approximately two months, from August through October 2026. The compensation range for this role is $27-$30.81 per hour.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience supporting day-to-day office operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Comfort handling sensitive or confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience learning and navigating new systems and technology platforms.
  • Strong follow-through, reliability, and accountability in managing tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and remain composed in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests and managing phone coverage for the Foundation’s main line while maintaining a professional, welcoming experience for visitors and staff.
  • Maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of office and kitchen spaces across two suites, including stocking supplies and coordinating shared spaces.
  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages.
  • Ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Maintaining and updating front desk and office operations documentation and procedures.
