About The Position

As the Outpatient Office Coordinator you will provide assistance to the Director of Outpatient Services in the ongoing operations of the Outpatient Services Program by implementation of policies and procedures, program handbooks. Provide coordination between Meadows intake, inpatient programs, Compliance Dept. & Business Office. Assist the Director of Outpatient Services in deployment of the program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Two years of administrative / clerical support experience required.
  • Ability to communicate in English with others to give, take and process information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in healthcare related Field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
  • Prefer experience working with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) in an Outpatient Setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of an operational handbook to include patient orientation to the program.
  • Collection and organization of data used in developing performance improvement plans as necessary.
  • In conjunction with the Compliance Department, oversees the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures that are in compliance with company policy and State and Joint Commission regulations.
  • As assigned by Corporate Compliance, may function as Safety Officer insuring compliance with all Risk and Safety policies as well as State and Joint Commission regulations.
  • Coordinate all Administrative activities, including scheduling of all activities and therapies and provides daily supervision to any administrative clerical staff.
  • Coordinates on-boarding and off-boarding of new staff as well as personnel file maintenance with Corporate Human Resources.
  • Coordinates with the Business Office to ensure prompt and accurate posting of charges and collection of payments due.
  • Ability to communicate in English with others to give, take and process information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
