About The Position

Blockaid is seeking a proactive, highly organized part-time Office Manager to be the operational backbone of their New York office. This role involves keeping the office well-stocked, coordinating global employee visits, and handling day-to-day operational details to ensure the team can remain agile and efficient. The ideal candidate takes pride in a well-run space and a well-taken-care-of team.

Requirements

  • 1 year of office management, workplace operations, or in an Executive or Admin Assistant role is a plus, but not required if you have relevant experience in a non-corporate environment
  • Strong organizational skills and an unflappable demeanor
  • A bias toward ownership and comfort juggling priorities and shifting gears quickly in a startup environment
  • Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information.
  • Ability to lift and move office supplies up to roughly 20 lbs as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a company with multiple offices or a globally distributed team.
  • Background coordinating international travel or inbound visitor logistics.
  • Prior experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day operations in the NYC office, from employee snack requests to equipment setup.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they become disruptions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, kitchen inventory, equipment, and office services; anticipate needs before they become asks.
  • Coordinate with building management on maintenance, repairs, security, and space planning.
  • Partner with IT and HR on procurement, invoices, and expense coding.
  • Plan and own setup/breakdown for occasional team lunches or happy hours.
