About The Position

Blackstone Valley Prep (BVP) Mayoral Academy is seeking a dedicated Office Manager who is bilingual in English and Spanish. BVP is a network of tuition-free public charter schools committed to providing a high-quality education and preparing scholars for college and beyond. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of office experience, preferably in an education agency
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish
  • Excellent computer skills in programs including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Maturity and ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with scholars, parents, colleagues, and community members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Bilingual Spanish required

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • Associates preferred
  • Experience as an administrative assistant
  • Background in data analytics, office management

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support
  • Maintain the lobby and Main Office
  • Maintain school supplies and storage
  • Support finance and bookkeeping functions
  • Support key operational systems
  • Collect and enter student and teacher data for state reporting and payroll
  • Serve as a productive member of the BVP community
