About The Position

This role serves as a key administrative support and communication liaison within the Home Center, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for clients and staff.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
  • Able to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Able to comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required.
  • 1-3 years tenure and/or related experience.
  • Must be able to complete tasks and role requirements independently.
  • Must be able to operate in a sedentary environment; independently operate a computer, phone, copier, and other office machinery.
  • Occasionally move furniture décor, and complete light cleaning.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, update, and maintain customer files, ensuring compliance with record policies.
  • Assist Home Center team members with sales, marketing, human resource, and other business processes by liaising with the Home Office.
  • Prepare sales packages, complete parts orders, submit billback requests for payments, and schedule contractor services.
  • Prepare letters, flyers for Home Center promotions, copies, business card requests, and other correspondence.
  • Serve as a point of contact between departments or individuals, relaying messages and ensuring effective communication.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Assist customers with general questions and accurately route phone calls and messages.
  • Assist with office compliance and internal audit preparation.
  • Collect invoices, schedule contractor payments, and make bank deposits.
  • Operate and perform tasks associated with Vantage, SES Pro, and My Home Service.
