About The Position

This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to move furniture and equipment on campus, drive a box truck on campus, and operate a forklift at the warehouse (training will be provided). The role also involves maintaining furniture inventory and moving crates. Client interfacing is a key component, and professionalism must be demonstrated at all times. This is a full-time, onsite position, typically working 5 days a week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience moving furniture.
Experience using dollies and hand pallet jacks.
Experience with inventory management.
Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Must interact with clients in a professional manner in a corporate setting.

Nice To Haves

Forklift license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Complete daily work orders.
Perform moves of crates and equipment.
Install and move furniture as needed to set up offices.
Deliver and pick-up crates for moves.
Clear plant equipment per work orders, which may include lab racks.
Drive a box truck for loading and unloading on campus.
Ensure loading docks on campus buildings are clear of furniture.
Organize furniture in the warehouse.
Label, palletize, and store furniture and items at the warehouse using a forklift or hand pallet jack.
Maintain the furniture inventory system.
Lift, push, and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 75 pounds.
Assess furniture damage and report repairs under warranty by taking photos and entering information into the vendor system.
