About The Position

DigitalOcean is seeking an operationally minded, hospitality-driven workspace champion to orchestrate the day-to-day ecosystem of their Bellevue office. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence that fuels a high-performance culture. The Office Coordinator will serve as the definitive go-to resource and cultural anchor for 75+ daily local employees, visiting executives, and global partners, reporting to the Director of Executive Administration. The physical spaces at DigitalOcean are designed as hubs of collaboration, innovation, and community, and this role is an opportunity to own the heartbeat of the Bellevue office.

Requirements

  • Experience with comprehensive facilities management, vendor procurement, and contract oversight within a fast-paced corporate or technology environment.
  • Experience with budget management, including invoice processing.
  • Familiarity with workplace operational tools.
  • Exceptional situational agility and diplomatic communication skills, allowing comfortable interfacing with everyone from early-career new hires to visiting board members and executive stakeholders.
  • A natural bias for action, a desire to experiment with new ways to improve the workplace experience, and a "leave it better than you found it" attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, building management, and vendor relationships to coordinate repairs and maintenance, ensure the space remains highly functional and well-stocked, and strategically plan for capacity as local headcount changes.
  • Own contracts and operational partnerships with local food, beverage, cleaning, security, IT support, and office supply vendors to manage the office budget effectively, track spend meticulously, and keep invoicing and approvals running smoothly.
  • Serve as the direct go-to resource for comprehensive on-site employee needs to coordinate frictionless new hire desk setups, onboarding logistics, badge access, and IT equipment deployment.
  • Plan and execute a vibrant slate of in-office events, team lunches, and all-hands logistics to cultivate a connected community culture and provide an exceptional environment for visiting executive or customer days.
  • Manage full front-of-house hospitality when executives, customers, partners, or board members visit the Bellevue office to deliver a premium experience through flawless catering coordination, conference room setups, and A/V readiness.
  • Act as the central on-site liaison between cross-functional partners in People, IT and Finance to seamlessly execute organizational developments, track new hire start dates, and facilitate space planning for team growth.
