The primary purpose of your position as an Office Coordinator is to perform assigned duties in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures and as directed by the Director of Outreach Services, to assure that a successful, viable office is maintained at all times. Your duty is to act as a supportive management assistant to the Director of Outreach Services. You will be given general guidelines and direction but are expected to function with initiative and creativity with the objective of office efficiency and technical excellence. May work on special projects both independently and with the Director. Will work closely with the Director in providing direction and supervision of the employees. Must interact with a patient population which includes infants, adolescents and geriatrics, therefore, must be able to identify the special needs of each patient according to age and respond appropriately. Under the supervision of a licensed physician(s) and the Director of Outreach Services performs selected administrative/clerical duties that assist in patient care management.
