About The Position

Sojourner House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Through housing, advocacy, education, and community-based services, we help survivors rebuild safe and stable lives. Our administrative offices support the staff who deliver these critical services, and creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive workplace is an important part of that work. The Office Coordinator is an essential member of the Operations Department and helps keep Sojourner House’s administrative offices connected, organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. This role serves as a key point of support for staff and may also be one of the first faces visitors, vendors, and community partners encounter. The Office Coordinator balances front-facing service with the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps day-to-day operations moving. This is a hands-on, varied position for someone who is organized, approachable, dependable, comfortable with technology, and willing to take initiative. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, solving everyday problems, and following tasks through to completion.
