We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Coordinator / Purchasing Assistant to support daily office operations, purchasing activities, and production coordination. This hourly position plays a key role in ensuring materials are available, orders are accurate, and communication flows smoothly between vendors, customers, and internal teams. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety, organization, and working closely with manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and professional communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

  • Inventory control and material tracking principles
  • Manufacturing or warehouse operations fundamentals
  • Shipping and logistics workflows
  • Office coordination and administrative support practices
  • Accurately place and track purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory and purchasing records
  • Coordinate effectively with production, warehouse, and office teams
  • Communicate clearly with vendors and customers to resolve issues
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Order hardware and raw materials used in the production of injection molded electrical insulators and busbars
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and order records
  • Assist with warehouse coordination, material tracking, and inventory counts
  • Support production scheduling and internal order coordination
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and logistics documentation
  • Support general office coordination and administrative tasks as needed
