About The Position

Staffworks is seeking an Entry-Level Office Clerk to join our team! The Office Clerk plays a key role in supporting accounts receivable operations and ensuring timely payment for goods and services provided to clients. Requirements

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Basic office and customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Create and submit invoices according to company procedures.
  • Maintain and update customer account records, including address changes and account updates.
  • Draft correspondence regarding past-due accounts and assist with collection efforts.
  • Review delinquent accounts and contact customers regarding outstanding balances.
  • Generate reports on customer account status as requested.
  • Research and resolve customer discrepancies and past-due balances.
  • Copy, file, and retrieve accounts receivable documentation as needed.
  • Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
