About The Position

This is an entry-level clerical position involving routine clerical tasks. Independent judgment is limited to applying standard procedures to specific cases. Personal-computer use for word processing and database entry is an integral part of the work. Employees receive detailed oral or written instructions for new, involved, or difficult assignments. Work is reviewed through supervisory observation, cross-checking, or another step in the clerical process. The employee works under the direct supervision of a higher-level employee and performs related work as required. A resume and Civil Service application are required.
