About The Position
Full-Service Facility Maintenance company offering a wide range of janitorial services for industrial, commercial, and construction customers throughout Northeast Ohio for the past 28 years. This position is located in Bath, Ohio. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas within a medical facility, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and staff offices. Responsibilities include dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and handling medical waste according to proper protocols. The job also requires maintaining cleaning equipment, adhering to safety and infection control procedures, and reporting maintenance issues. The pay is $14.00 per hour for a part-time position, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This offers a set schedule with steady hours and no weekends. Multiple openings are available.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a medical healthcare setting
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies
- Understanding of infection control and sanitation standards in medical environments
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to work evening hours and potentially weekends
- Reliable transportation to reach the work location
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a medical setting
- Must have a clean criminal background
- Must be willing to complete onboarding assessment quizzes using a computer/laptop
- Must be willing to obtain a yearly Tuberculosis Test (TB) and Flu Vaccine or be able to provide a letter from your healthcare provider or spiritual advisor that you are exempt from the Flu Vaccine.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, and staff office
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including countertops, desks, and equipment
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard floor surfaces
- Empty trash bins and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks and mirrors
- Restock supplies in bathrooms and other areas as needed
- Follow proper protocols for handling and disposing of medical waste
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition
- Adhere to safety guidelines infection control procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor
