Oversees the Office of Support Services and Operations. Establishing policies, planning, coordinating, managing, and evaluating all activities for major programs; includes budget preparation and approval of purchases, management of subordinate staff, responsible for equipment, procedures, reports, policies, safety and technical guidance. Leads the planning and implementation of programs within the office. Recommends process or service improvements. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the organization. Contributes to the development of functional strategy. Provides advice and counsel to the organization in the area of expertise. Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives. Provides expert testimony. Approves report. This position may be required to perform work at/attend meetings at alternate locations and/or travel (in and out of state) when necessary, possibly requiring a state, personal or rented vehicle.
