About The Position

The Office Assistant position requires an individual to perform various administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily operations of the office. This role involves managing correspondence, maintaining records, and assisting with general office duties. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, standards, concepts and regulations
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures, filing systems, data entry techniques and business equipment
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced growing and dynamic business
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
