About The Position

We’re currently looking for an Office Assistant to join our team and play a critical part in our daily operations. This dynamic role is responsible for a variety of clerical tasks, such as managing paperwork, maintaining records, answering phones, and assisting with customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous office experience highly preferred
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Programs desired
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers
  • Attention to detail with the ability to read and verify work order information accurately

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and route appropriately
  • Provide accurate information to callers
  • Greet visitors and distribute messages to the appropriate personnel
  • Open and distribute incoming mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
  • Manage daily order, shipping receiving maintenance via Pomp’s Order Management Software
  • Prepare daily shipping schedule of product based from customer orders via Pomp’s Order Management Software
  • Assist in maintaining files with regards to production orders, invoices, and shipments and aftermarket orders, invoices and shipments
  • Scanning of invoices and all correspondence relating to billing
  • Coordination of products using applicable computer technologies
  • Complete all required documentation for domestic or global shipments by receiving entity
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
