This role is responsible for various administrative and patient-facing tasks within a medical office setting. Responsibilities include checking in and checking out patients, verifying insurance eligibility, maintaining patient registration by properly entering and updating patient demographics within the patient registration software, greeting patients while answering multi-phone lines, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, creating/scheduling referrals, completing chart prep and providing information to and for the patients. The position may also involve floating to other practices within the region to provide support as needed. The role emphasizes promoting the Riverside Care Difference through exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and actively participating in team huddles and staff meetings.
