About The Position

As an Office Assistant for Bamboo Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the company's Midvale, UT office, as well as providing support to our HR team. This role combines office management duties with limited HR responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a wide range of tasks.

  • Proven experience as an office assistant, preferable in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ordering as needed to maintain inventory.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, liaising with building management and service providers.
  • Assist with Emergency Action Plan management.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and professional office atmosphere.
  • Coordinate and communicate information effectively within the organization.
  • Scan daily mail and distribute to appropriate contacts.
  • Assist in coordination of meetings scheduled in the Midvale office and off-site.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation, ie. I-9 verifications.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and manage shared inbox communication.
  • Provide administrative support for human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and requests from in-office staff.
  • Handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
