The position also involves providing information to patients and may require floating to other practices within the region to offer support as needed. The role emphasizes promoting the Riverside Care Difference through exceptional customer service, including greeting patients warmly, managing expectations, and utilizing proper phone etiquette. Maintaining referrals and insurance information, including obtaining necessary authorizations, is also a core function. The Office Assistant is encouraged to recommend process improvements and maintain the cleanliness of the reception area, while actively participating in team huddles and staff meetings.
