Under the overall supervision of the Executive Director and the direct supervision of the Administrative Specialist, this role is responsible for performing receptionist duties and providing clerical support for the agency. The position involves serving as a team member in the overall coordination and planning for Agency programs, maintaining a cooperative and professional attitude, and greeting all individuals who visit or call the office. Key responsibilities include managing the agency phone system, sharing knowledge of program requirements and community resources, receiving donations, performing data entry and clerical work, processing mail, and assisting with the delivery of services through various case management programs. The role also provides administrative assistance for documents, events, meetings, reports, and other agency projects. Additionally, the Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining a directory of community resources, processing volunteer applications, promoting a positive public image, safeguarding confidential information, and assisting with building maintenance and other departments. Non-essential functions include respecting confidentiality, participating in training, handling stress, administering first aid when necessary, and performing other job-related duties.
