About The Position

ChristianaCare is hiring a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join their Plastic Surgery team in Newark, DE at Map II. As an office assistant you will be involved with scheduling appointments, interacting with patients professionally, and ensuring patient confidentiality. Collecting demographic and financial information, processing referrals, and verifying insurance reimbursement eligibility. The Medical Office Assistant I schedules appointments with attention to insurance, greets patients while collecting necessary information, and processes referrals while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required
