About The Position

Join Bachman's team in a dynamic nursery wholesale environment as an Office & Customer Support Assistant. This role involves guiding customers, coordinating product pulling and loading, invoicing orders, and handling communication via phone and email. You will also support incoming freight traffic and collaborate with various teams, assisting with bookkeeping and operational tasks to ensure smooth business operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in customer service within related field.
  • Ability to demonstrate polished customer service communication skills, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Operate Microsoft Office and Google applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google Calendars
  • Utilize Point of Sale (POS) and Customer Resource Management (CRM) systems efficiently.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team to accomplish shared tasks and goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic working knowledge of landscape plant material, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control customer and non-customer interaction traffic including walk-ins, phone calls, and emails.
  • Professionally greet customers, understand their needs, and direct/connect them with appropriate on-site staff.
  • Manage and direct incoming customer phone calls and email requests.
  • Direct inbound/outbound trucking to proper personnel and location.
  • Assist in invoicing customer orders under direction and provide credits to customers as needed.
  • Assist Production, Fulfillment, and Sales teams with various needs, such as bookkeeping and data entry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
