CGC Inc. is currently recruiting an Office Administrator for our Wheatland facility, based in Carseland, Alberta. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping and/or office administration experience
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent problem-solving skills showing a commitment to accuracy and details.
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines with little error.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to effectively undertake multiple tasks.
  • Must be a people and results-oriented individual who incorporates and emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
  • Must demonstrate proven success at working both independently and in teams with a sense of urgency and high level of customer focus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Diploma in Business or Finance Administration is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable and resolve invoice exceptions.
  • Update and maintain BOM’s
  • Prepare, co-ordinate and take part in inventory counts, investigate discrepancies.
  • Complete entries for inventory adjustments
  • Answer audit questions as they arise
  • Update plant freight tracker spreadsheet weekly
  • Process plant payroll
  • Assist with the month-end close process
  • Monitor Cost Centers for accurate coding
  • Create monthly plant accruals, month end journal entries and processes write offs where applicable
  • Various office administrative duties
  • Help maintain safety program
  • Shipping and receiving as required
  • Assist the HRBP for Wheatland as needed
