About The Position

This position is responsible for working with and at times supervising other associates in the Public Works department. The role involves assisting the department head and other departmental leaders in the management of the office. Key responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, budget information, paying invoices, and managing office personnel records. The associate in this role must possess a high level of knowledge of the department's operations and be a high-level user and manager of the office's computer systems.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university or four (4) years of executive level administrative experience.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with payroll accounting.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must submit to/pass background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Notary Clerk may be required depending on the needs of the assigned department.
