About The Position

Our established Dental practice located in Wetaskiwin is seeking an experienced Dental receptionist. We book 11 operatories; 3 full-time dentists and 5 full-time hygienists and see lots of awesome patients everyday! We are looking for someone reliable, friendly and fun! We like to joke around and have a relaxed, fun atmosphere while still being professional. Our purpose is to provide the best care for our patients. Requirements

• Dental administration experience preferred
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• Recall Max and Dentrix experience an asset
• Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients as they arrive; ensure a lasting positive impression for them
• Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps
• Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database
• Manage patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider; manage and file all patient records and charts
