About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented Office & Accounting Clerk to join our powersports dealership team. This position plays an important role in keeping the dealership's day-to-day administrative and financial operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and is able to balance multiple responsibilities, including daily banking and reconciliation, accounts payable, tag & title processing, inventory management, general office administration and provide exceptional customer service. This is a hands on position that requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, orgnization and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with management and other departments.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, dealership or office experience preferred.
  • Powersports or automotive experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with financial records.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office & Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and learn dealership software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, payments and vendor accounts.
  • Review financial transactions for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, deposits and other financial documentation.
  • Assist with month end accounting procedures and provide information to management and accounting partners.
  • Handle daily cash and deposit related administrative duties.
  • Process tag and title paperwork for motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, watercraft, trailers and other powersports units.
  • Prepare and submit title applications, MCO's, lien documentation, powers of attorney and related paperwork.
  • Ensure customer and unit information is accurate and complete.
  • Communicate with customers, lenders, manufacturers and county/state tag and title offices as needed.
  • Track outstanding titles, lien releases and other required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and organized title and registration records.
  • Assist with receiving & processing inventory additions, transfers, sales, trades and other unit activity.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily administrative office functions.
  • Handle confidential business and financial information appropriately.
  • Order office supplies as needed.
  • Manage multi-line phone system.
