About The Position

This position is responsible for loading and moving offal trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Offal Driver takes the trailer to the scale house to check the weight and drains water out of the trailer. The offal driver fills out paperwork concerning offal loads, (Foreign material sheet and trailer load out sheet). This position is also responsible for cleaning the offal area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have current Driver’s License, which is not suspended, revoked, or canceled.
• Has no DWI/DUI conviction within the last 12 months.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• 3 months work experience in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Loading offal trailers (meat and feather) during shift
• Must have knowledge and ability to operate a tractor-trailer rig
• Cleaning and keeping the area clear of clutter
• Washing downloading areas
• Degreasing equipment
• Cleaning concrete
• Operate/drive forklift
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
