About The Position

Harbinger is seeking a detail-oriented and persistent Off-Site Receiving Specialist to manage remote inventory operations. The specialist will ensure accurate, timely data entry in NetSuite, maintain strict inventory controls, and clear receiving backlogs. The role serves as a frontline defense against supply chain discrepancies by documenting, reporting, and driving resolution of inbound shipping errors.

The specialist will oversee a third-party logistics provider’s compliance with Harbinger’s receiving procedures, track inventory by revision level, audit inbound shipments, and coordinate with purchasing, warehouse operations, and vendors to resolve issues. The position also involves maintaining receiving error logs and improving documentation and error-correction processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system for inventory or receiving functions.
• Proficiency with Slack and spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of inventory control processes, particularly revision-level tracking.
• Persistent, solution-oriented approach and ability to obtain answers from internal and external partners.
• High administrative accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming shipments in NetSuite accurately and promptly.
• Ensure the 3PL provider follows Harbinger’s receiving SOPs and communicate discrepancies in documentation, physical quantities, or product condition.
• Maintain revision-level inventory controls for accurate product tracking and quality standards.
• Inspect inbound shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and physical counts.
• Investigate and clear missed-receipt backlogs to bring inventory records up to date.
• Document and report issues preventing receipts from being processed in the receiving error log and designated Slack channels.
• Pursue resolutions for receiving errors in collaboration with purchasing, warehouse operations, and vendors.
• Maintain documentation standards and drive long-term corrections to recurring errors.
