About The Position

Enthuse is an education-led marketing agency focused on teaching consumers to love client brands through engaging content and unforgettable experiences. As a fast-growing, women-owned agency, we are dedicated to driving real business results and empowering other women entrepreneurs. This field-based role in Houston, TX, is responsible for the success of a portfolio of Pre-Mix (RTD & FMB) bev-alc brands within a defined territory. The Activation Agent will work closely with a local sales network to build customer relationships and drive brand and educational opportunities, measured against key performance indicators for Off Premise goals. The role involves analyzing the territory and individual accounts to identify and execute promotional, educational, experiential, and merchandising opportunities to drive commercial growth and brand presence.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the beer or spirits industry, with ready-to-drink experience preferred.
  • Confident and charismatic with excellent personal presentation and communication skills, able to tailor communications for various Off Premise environments.
  • A self-starter capable of implementing a course of action or plan and seeing it through to a successful outcome with minimal supervision.
  • Must live and travel within the assigned territory with access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel on an ad hoc basis, including nights and weekends.
  • Computer and tablet literacy with the ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail programs like Outlook.
  • Ability to use Business Information Tools, including performance dashboards, commercial sales platforms, and specialized customer tools.
  • Proven track record in building relationships with customers and internal associates.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market needs and challenges.
  • Diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire for mentorship and willingness to mentor others, contribute to team culture.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in select Off Premise accounts using strategic engagement activities and business-focused solutions.
  • Identify activation opportunities and propose client brands as solutions, activating against these opportunities quickly and efficiently.
  • Install and maintain appropriate point-of-sale/printed materials within accounts, ensuring they are clean and current.
  • Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, and processing restocks/reorders as necessary according to planogram standards.
  • Impart key brand attributes to clients, trade, and consumers.
  • Partner with client commercial teams to identify commercial opportunities supporting business growth.
  • Maintain open communication with client & agency stakeholders and support resources.
  • Complete accurate and timely management of agency initiatives, including budget and expense management, all reporting responsibilities, and tracking/management of performance data using agency-appointed platforms.
  • Participate in all internal training initiatives.
  • Manage Point of Sale, asset, and warehouse inventory.
  • Adhere to all legal and marketing code guidelines.
  • Positively impact client portfolio brand performance in stores within the designated journey plan.
