About The Position

We are seeking an experienced OFCI Manager to support a major data center construction program. This role will provide strategic oversight of OFCI planning, vendor engagement, supply chain coordination, and procurement operations to ensure alignment with project execution goals, design milestones, and construction schedules. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison across internal teams and external partners, driving accountability, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency throughout the OFCI lifecycle. This is a part-time position (~20 hours per week) with flexibility to scale as project needs evolve.

Requirements

  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, twist, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods while navigating uneven, unpaved, or obstructed terrain.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to drive between job sites and access all areas of an active construction zone, including raised platforms, scaffolding, and confined spaces.
  • Must be able to tolerate exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and construction-related noise, vibrations, and odors.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and site personnel, and maintain situational awareness in high-activity environments.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, is required.
  • Must have sufficient visual acuity to read drawings, specifications, and safety signage, and to observe site activity.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience managing OFCI programs, procurement operations, or supply chain activities within hyperscale or colocation data center environments.
  • Strong understanding of OFCI coordination, supply chain logistics, vendor management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and reviewing commercial agreements, terms, and conditions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, construction, and commissioning stakeholders.
  • Established relationships with key vendors, distributors, and manufacturer representatives strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate in fast-paced project environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical or data center construction programs preferred.
  • For roles that require on-site presence or travel between work locations as an essential function of the position, candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee OFCI strategy, vendor coordination, and supply chain execution for data center construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key vendor partners.
  • Drive contract negotiations, terms and conditions (T&Cs), and commercial alignment to support project objectives and mitigate risk.
  • Review and evaluate contracts, procurement plans, and vendor commitments to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Partner with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to align OFCI deliverables with project schedules and operational milestones.
  • Monitor procurement status, material lead times, inventory availability, and supply chain risks to proactively address project impacts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs, procurement workflows, and process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for OFCI-related vendor issues, supply chain constraints, and delivery challenges.
  • Support program reporting, forecasting, and executive-level updates related to OFCI readiness and supply chain performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, standardization, and vendor performance across the procurement lifecycle.
