About The Position

As an OES Order Management Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing and monitoring orders, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to meet service and forecast goals. You'll work across functions to support product launches, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in processes. This role offers a dynamic blend of customer interaction, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years order management or equivalent experience (customer service, order fulfillment, etc.)
  • Significant hands-on ERP or MRP experience, preferably SAP, focusing on the sales, distribution, materials, and supply chain business functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of EDI
  • High customer orientation with team approach
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, laterally and horizontally, to internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and monitoring customer orders, negotiating and adjusting delivery dates with agreement of customers.
  • Working with customers to meet customer service fill rate goals, maximize customer satisfaction, meet forecast accuracy goals, and working with key account management team, material planning team and others.
  • Proactively collaborating and communicating with key account management and material planning teams to ensure sufficient quantities of product are available to meet customer demand and are in line with forecast.
  • Coordinating efforts to solicit from the customer both current and anticipated customer line rates, product conversion/marketing information, and historical sales as input into sales and material forecast plan.
  • Utilizing available systems to prepare, analyze, and summarize results of customer demand patterns and fluctuations.
  • Managing interface with customers and product engineering, materials, and warehouse employees during the product development process to identify customer requirements and timing; also helping coordinate new product introductions, engineering changes and part number changes.
  • Interfacing with customers and key account managers to resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and to support key customer account activity.
  • Working directly with customers to better understand their internal processes, key contacts and communicating this information internally to vested parties as required to improve efficiency of direct reports and improve customer satisfaction.
