About The Position

This role assists with overdraft program duties and communicates with staff and members to ensure efficient and effective member service. The ODP Coordinator is responsible for contacting members regarding overdrawn accounts, assisting with account charge-offs, monitoring accounts with negative balances or frequent overdraft activity, and helping with repayment plans. The position also involves maintaining records, member documentation, processing overdraft reports and letters, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year of collections experience preferred with knowledge of account follow-up and delinquency management.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Basic understanding of credit union operations, particularly deposit accounts.
  • Familiarity with overdraft practices and regulations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to track account progress in internal systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members.

Responsibilities

  • Contact members regarding overdrawn accounts included by phone, text, emails and letters to provide resolution options.

  • Assist others within and outside the department as needed.
