Requirements

• Experienced Set-Up Operator for OD/ID Grinders
• Specializing in high-precision, small-batch, or prototype production
• In-depth technical knowledge of precision grinding, including wheel selection and offsets
• Ability to hold extremely tight tolerances based on blueprints
• Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust manual and/or CNC OD/ID grinding machines, including wheel mounting and dressing.
• Analyze blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine necessary grinding sequences, tooling, and holding fixtures.
• Efficiently set up and tear down jobs frequently to accommodate small batch production, ensuring minimal downtime.
