Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Eagerness to learn and develop skills in OCS systems design
Enthusiasm for the transit/transportation industry.
Willingness to participate in field testing of OCS systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks, within tight deadlines and schedules

Responsibilities

Assist the OCS Design Manager
Contribute to the management of OCS activities under supervision.
Contribute to the production of OCS drawings
Collaborate with experienced engineer to strengthen knowledge in integration and design
Prepare design report and develop documents, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
Create calculation tools
Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate OCS designs into overall transportation infrastructure
Conduct site assessments and inspections to validate design assumptions and ensure proper installation practices
Participate in project meetings
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, standards, and best practices in all design and installation processes
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to overhead catenary systems
Contribute to the compilation and submission packages
