We’re looking for a new OCS Junior Engineer in our System and Power Sector to help drive the objectives and challenges our valued clients have trusted us to solve for them. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in OCS systems design
  • Enthusiasm for the transit/transportation industry.
  • Willingness to participate in field testing of OCS systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, within tight deadlines and schedules

Responsibilities

  • Assist the OCS Design Manager
  • Contribute to the management of OCS activities under supervision.
  • Contribute to the production of OCS drawings
  • Collaborate with experienced engineer to strengthen knowledge in integration and design
  • Prepare design report and develop documents, including specifications, drawings, and cost estimates
  • Create calculation tools
  • Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to integrate OCS designs into overall transportation infrastructure
  • Conduct site assessments and inspections to validate design assumptions and ensure proper installation practices
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations, standards, and best practices in all design and installation processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to overhead catenary systems
  • Contribute to the compilation and submission packages
