About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our OCIO team, working closely with nonprofit institutions, endowments, and foundations to steward long-term investment programs. This role is suited for an individual who brings intellectual curiosity, humility, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a collaborative partner— to clients and colleagues alike—capable of navigating complex investment decisions within thoughtful governance structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-10+ years’ experience in institutional investing, OCIO, or investment consulting

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with sophisticated investment committees and fiduciaries
  • Strong grounding in asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager evaluation, including alternatives
  • Advanced degree and/or CFA/CAIA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to institutional clients, building durable relationships grounded in transparency, responsiveness, and sound judgment
  • Engage directly with investment committees and boards, presenting recommendations and facilitating thoughtful discussion around strategy, risk, and trade-offs
  • Support clients in aligning investment programs with mission, spending needs, and long-term objectives
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of investment policy frameworks and governance practices
  • Lead the design and ongoing oversight of multi-asset portfolios, incorporating both public and private investments
  • Develop and implement asset allocation strategies that reflect client objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs
  • Participate in manager research, selection, and monitoring, drawing on both internal insights and external partnerships
  • Continuously evaluate portfolio positioning in light of evolving market conditions and long-term capital market perspectives
  • Contribute to portfolio construction, implementation, rebalancing, liquidity management, performance analysis, and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consistency and quality of execution across client portfolios
  • Participate actively in a team-based investment process, contributing perspective while remaining open to challenge and refinement
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning, curiosity, and shared accountability
  • Support broader firm initiatives, including thought leadership and client development efforts, as appropriate
