About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Solutions Architect to architect, deploy, and operate large-scale, secure, and resilient cloud environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The role owns the full OCI engineering lifecycle, from landing-zone design and infrastructure-as-code through workload migration and ongoing operations, including cost optimization and observability. The architect will apply deep OCI expertise and DevOps automation skills while partnering with database, application, and security teams to deliver cloud platforms for mission-critical Oracle and non-Oracle workloads. This is a full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies in its in-house Statement of Work engagement. It is 100% remote within the continental United States. The position does not offer new H1B sponsorship; candidates with a valid H1B visa who need a transfer may apply. A technical coding assessment is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Five or more years of cloud engineering experience, with strong hands-on OCI experience.
  • Production-level experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
  • Solid experience with OCI compute, networking, storage, identity, and database services.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for cloud workloads.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with observability tooling and incident response.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to work as a full-time W2 employee and contribute to Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house SOW deliverables.
  • Candidates requiring a new H1B sponsorship are not eligible; candidates with a valid H1B visa requiring a transfer may apply.
  • Must complete a mandatory technical coding assessment.

  • Operate OCI database services, including Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud, MySQL HeatWave, and Base Database, in partnership with DBA teams.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications using OCI DevOps or external platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Implement observability using OCI Monitoring, Logging, and APM, and integrate third-party observability stacks.
  • Drive cost optimization through right-sizing, lifecycle management, and architectural simplification.
  • Design disaster-recovery and business-continuity solutions across OCI regions and availability domains.
  • Strengthen security using OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe, and lead remediation of findings.
