Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of Global Forwarding Operations experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience leading a team
Strong knowledge of ocean import/export operations, shipping documentation, customs procedures, and carrier coordination.
Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Being able to work independently and part of a team
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage ocean freight operations for both Export and Import.
Supervise overall operational quality and streamline working process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
To assist sales development and provide in-house support
Communicate and coordinate with overseas agent partners on R/Os together with Supervisor.
Negotiate with carriers, vendors, and utilize alternatives to improve overall consolidation costs to maximize profitability, as well as maintaining service efficiency
At the same time, work closely with Customer Service management to establish and implement SOP for all key and MNC accounts to meet expectation
Adhere to compliance of all transportation and security regulations.
Responsible for completion of air export/ air import month end closing
Coordinate with the management to execute annual business plan and operating budget
