Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Global Forwarding Operations experience
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience leading a team
  • Strong knowledge of ocean import/export operations, shipping documentation, customs procedures, and carrier coordination.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Being able to work independently and part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage ocean freight operations for both Export and Import.
  • Supervise overall operational quality and streamline working process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • To assist sales development and provide in-house support
  • Communicate and coordinate with overseas agent partners on R/Os together with Supervisor.
  • Negotiate with carriers, vendors, and utilize alternatives to improve overall consolidation costs to maximize profitability, as well as maintaining service efficiency
  • At the same time, work closely with Customer Service management to establish and implement SOP for all key and MNC accounts to meet expectation
  • Adhere to compliance of all transportation and security regulations.
  • Responsible for completion of air export/ air import month end closing
  • Coordinate with the management to execute annual business plan and operating budget
