About The Position

Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in an in-facility setting. The role implements occupational therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments. The assistant works to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence while treating each patient as an individual and helping patients and families receive compassionate, high-quality service. The position involves adapting to patient needs, collaborating with peers, and making referrals when appropriate. The role reports to the Director of Rehab.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
