About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide occupational therapy services to adults and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. The role focuses on helping patients improve functional independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered care. The assistant works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and collaborates with patients, caregivers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams. The position emphasizes quality outcomes, consistency of care, clinical autonomy, and a supportive, therapist-driven environment.

Requirements

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
Help patients improve daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
