About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Hopedale, Ohio. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping patients improve independence, mobility, and overall quality of life in a post-acute rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, or geriatric therapy is preferred but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Help patients improve activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain timely clinical records.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that supports positive outcomes.
