About The Position
This Occupational Therapy Assistant position is the full performance level of work providing limited occupational therapist treatments to patients/residents under the direction of an occupational therapist at the Thomas B. Finan Center. This Occupational Therapy Assistant position will be responsible for formulating Occupational Therapy treatment plans based on OT evaluations performed and treatment team assessments.
Requirements
- Determined by the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice under the licensing requirements for Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Two years of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice.
- Possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland (if assigned duties requiring the operation of an automobile).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with psychiatric patients/residents.
- Experience planning, developing and evaluating occupational therapy treatment plans.
