About The Position

Discovery at Home is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Cape Coral, FL. This is a part-time or PRN position, with up to 3 days per week. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will primarily conduct home visits, with the potential for some caseloads within assisted and independent living communities. The patient population is mainly geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, and some under Part B.

Requirements

Graduation from an Occupational Therapy Assistant college program.
Eligible for FL state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 year of prior home care experience.
Must complete fingerprinting and background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits with geriatric patients.
