About The Position

The Occupational Therapist provides clinical services to children in their homes throughout Ventura, California, with occasional on-site support in Santa Barbara, California. The role includes conducting assessments, providing specialized services, managing client cases, and guiding paraprofessionals. Sessions are tailored to each child’s treatment plan. The position also involves participating in weekly staff meetings and trainings and maintaining required clinical and employment documentation. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. The stated schedule is flexible within Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $60 per hour for clinical work and $20 per hour for administrative or training work.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapy License in California.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes to provide services.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Early Intervention is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build trust and rapport with clients by providing consistent, quality service.
Conduct clinical service assessments, provide specialized services, and manage client cases.
Manage paraprofessionals by providing clinical and administrative guidance.
Conduct in-home sessions tailored to each child’s treatment plan.
Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings, prepared to contribute to discussions about cases.
Keep notes and progress reports current and maintain employee certifications and other documentation or renewals required for continued employment.
