Occupational Therapist - Part Time
About The Position
Westside is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist for its Elmhurst Clinic in Elmhurst, Illinois. The position focuses on pediatric therapy and offers opportunities to develop expertise in areas such as Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health. The Occupational Therapist works with a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and/or Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The listed hourly pay range is $55.00 to $70.00, based on skills and experience.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Hold an occupational therapy license in Illinois or be eligible for licensure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Assess clients for adaptations and determine when special equipment is necessary.
- Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop clients’ fine motor, cognitive, language, self-care, regulation, and other skills.
- Support and guide clients’ families so they can foster behaviors and practices used in treatment.
