About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of independence while being part of a team that values and supports its clinicians.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Previous SNF, inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve function, mobility, independence, and quality of life
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and recommendations
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning
