About The Position
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time Autumn Lake at Long View | Manchester, MD. Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Long View. This is an excellent opportunity to help residents regain independence and improve everyday function while working alongside a collaborative team in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.
Requirements
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, cognition, and functional skills
- Help residents build greater independence with everyday tasks and routines
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans based on resident needs
- Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
